The first major Loopr update. Took until September 21 to be ready for sale.
This update brings many new concepts to Loopr. Going way beyond the 4 basic tracks of v1.0.x, it is now the first 64 independent tracks live-looping iOS looper. It organizes tracks in 4 phrases, each composed of 4 groups of 4 tracks. And yes, you can finally name sessions... ;) This major update needed some heavy code rehaul, and we had to rethink diverse aspects of the ergonomy to fit for our future ideas. :)
Update features include:
- 64 independent tracks
- 4 phrase-composition
- iTunes file import/export
- sessions renaming activated (finally!)
- rehaul of core engine
- bug-fixes and general UI improvement
Previous features include (from v1.0.1):
- load sessions activated (finally!)
- one-shot recording mode
- low latency recording and playback, to catch it when it comes
- one hand, thumb optimized screen controls, to loop along everywhere
- efficient MIDI pedalboard ergonomy for hands free control
- MIDI time code out tempo synchronization, for all the electronic play-alongs
- transparent on-the-fly saving of sessions, to save without a pause
- easy exportation of separate audio files including comprehensible text-formatted metadata
